That belief hasn't changed. And neither has the need.

A government-issued ID is the starting line- for voting, for work, for housing, for healthcare, for everything. Millions of Americans are still waiting at that starting line. Not because they gave up. Because the system put up walls that are genuinely hard to climb alone.

That’s where we come in.

Project ID manages a free national ID helpline and helps people obtain IDs on the ground- because this work is too important to pause, and too urgent to slow down.

Every call we answer is someone who decided to try again. Every ID we help someone obtain is a door that just opened. We intend to keep answering, and keep opening doors.
